PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article for preventing a side seal part from becoming hard easily and improving texture.
SOLUTION: The underpants type absorbent article 1 includes a pair of side seal parts 8, 8 formed by fusing both side edge parts 6a, 6a of an abdominal side part A and both side edge parts 6b, 6b of a back side part B by a plurality of embossed parts 7. In the pants type absorbent article 1, the embossed parts 7 are disposed at predetermined intervals along the respective side edge parts 6a, 6b of the abdominal side part A and the back side part B. The embossed parts 7 of the abdominal side part A and the embossed parts 7 of the back side part B are alternately disposed on the cross sectional view, and end parts of the embossed parts 7 of the abdominal side part A and the end parts of the embossed parts 7 of the back side part B are overlapped with each other.
