PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning observation device that is suitable for displaying a color image and suppresses power consumption by reducing the number of light emissions of light sources.SOLUTION: An optical scanning observation device 10 comprises: light sources 33R, 33G, 33B with different colors a light emission timing control part 32 an illumination optical fiber 11 for emitting light from the light sources from the tip part toward an object 100 a drive part 21 for driving the tip part of the illumination optical fiber 11 spirally a photo-detector 35 for converting the light obtained by irradiating the object with light into an electric signal and a signal processing part 37 for generating an image signal on the basis of the electric signal.
