PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of inhibiting generation of malodor after use.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes water-absorbing resin particles. The water-absorbing resin particle includes in the inside thereof, a fumaric acid with a volume average particle of 15 μm or less. The water-absorbing resin particle includes the fumaric acid therein so as to inhibit proliferation of putrefactive bacteria inside the water-absorbing resin particles after absorbing the humor.
