PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a close-type walking assistant device without the need of operation such as switching by a user mounting the device, and bringing about more natural walking motion.
SOLUTION: In the device, power from a motor as a power source is transmitted to a knee joint and an ankle joint by a flexible shaft in order to assist the motion of lower limb part of a wearing person, and in that the rotary angle and the torque of the motor are controlled through the motion of the lower limb part of the wearing person.
