One problem involving a conventional noise eliminating device is that since noise elimination is performed using a sound volume difference between acoustic sensors, a somewhat large distance is needed between the acoustic sensors, so that the device becomes large. A noise eliminating device according to the present invention is an acoustic sensor array that includes two or more acoustic sensors, wherein the acoustic sensors are arranged such that the direction of a perpendicular bisector of a line segment that connects two adjacent acoustic sensors becomes a noise arrival direction, whereby noise arrival direction estimation is performed with high accuracy. Accordingly, high noise elimination performance can be achieved while an interval of acoustic sensors is reduced.
