The present invention relates to a method for forming a box for both growing a mushroom mycelium and cultivating a mushroom. A sawdust medium containing a mushroom mycelium is placed in a sealable box, and a hole is drilled on a box cover to circulate air suitable for mushroom mycelium growth. The hole is blocked using a cotton wick to sufficiently grow the mushroom mycelium. Then the cover is removed, and the mushroom is cultivated several times while leaving the medium unaffected in the box.
