PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a diffusion state of body fluid to be accurately confirmed without suppressing diffusion of the body fluid by embossments and to prevent discomfort by stickiness from being experienced.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a body fluid discharge part embossment 11 which, as embossments 10, is formed in an area corresponding to a body fluid discharge portion H almost along a pad longitudinal direction and is composed of a shape line swollen outside in a pad width direction； longitudinal direction embossments 12 which are formed almost along the pad longitudinal direction back and forth of the body fluid discharge part embossment 11 respectively； and inclination part embossments 13 which extend from an outside end part of the longitudinal direction embossments 12 and are inclined to a central side in the pad width direction. The inclination part embossments 13 function as scales, which allows a diffusion state of the body fluid to be accurately confirmed. By providing right and left end parts of the inclination part embossments 13, 13 separately in a width direction, it prevents discomfort from being experienced without suppressing diffusion of the body fluid.【課題】エンボスによる体液の拡散を抑制せず、正確な体液の拡散状況が確認できるようにするとともに、ベタツキによる不快感を感じさせなくする。【解決手段】エンボス１０として、体液排出部位Ｈに対応する領域に、略パッド長手方向に沿って形成されるとともに、パッド幅方向外側に膨出する形状線からなる体液排出部エンボス１１と、この体液排出部エンボス１１の前後にそれぞれ、略パッド長手方向に沿って形成される長手方向エンボス１２と、この長手方向エンボス１２の外方側端部から延びるとともに、パッド幅方向中央側に向けて傾斜する傾斜部エンボス１３とから構成する。前記傾斜部エンボス１３が目盛りとして機能し、正確な体液の拡散状況が確認できる。また、左右の前記傾斜部エンボス１３、１３の端部同士を幅方向に離間して設けることにより、体液の拡散を抑制せず、ベタツキによる不快感を生じなくする。【選択図】図１
