PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which comprises a deodorization function and which allows a user to properly grasp a replacement timing.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a longitudinal direction D, a width direction D, and a thickness direction, and comprises a liquid permeable layer 2, a liquid non-permeable layer, and an absorber layer which is disposed between the liquid permeable layer and the liquid non-permeable layer. The absorber layer comprises: width direction diffusion means 16 disposed on outside of a longitudinal direction to an excretion port contact area Tof the absorbent article, extended in a width direction, and diffuses excrement to the width direction and a deodorant arrangement area Textended in the longitudinal direction and positioned on a center area of the width direction. The width direction diffusion means crosses the deodorant arrangement area.
