PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic fishing rod in which tension force generated to a fishing line can be adjusted when a fisherman has intended.SOLUTION: A telescopic fishing rod has a principal upper joint 25, a principal joint 26, and a biasing mechanism 30 arranged between both members. The principal upper joint 25 is assembled in a shape of nesting to the principal joint 26, and both members are fit in a predetermined fitting. The principal upper joint 25 is slidable to the principal joint 26. The biasing mechanism 30 biases the principal upper joint 25 to the principal joint 26 side always elastically. The biasing mechanism 30 includes a spring 50.
