PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic rod stopper that can effectively be utilized for closing operation during a fishing operation and also exerts a function as a balance weight.SOLUTION: A telescopic rod stopper includes a rod tip attaching part 5B mounted to a mounting face 4A of the rod tip side opening of a base rod 4 and a butt stopper mounting part 5C mounted and fixed to the mounting face of a butt stopper 7 attached to a rod base edge of the base rod 4. A screw-type screwing mechanism is adopted as a butt stopper side mounting mechanism formed in the butt stopper mounting part 5C and the mounting face of the butt stopper.
