The invention relates to a liquid composition comprising: - chlorhexidine digluconate, - a dye of formula (I) in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, in which R1, R2, R3, R4, which may be identical or different, represent each independently a hydrogen atom or a chlorine atom, - water and at least one alcohol selected from ethanol, n-propanol and isopropanol. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a composition, its use as a medicament, especially for the antisepsis of the skin and its use for the disinfection of instruments, in particular for a surgical procedure. L'invention concerne une composition liquide comprenant : - du digluconate de chlorhexidine, - un colorant de formule (I) sous la forme d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable, dans laquelle R1, R2, R3, R4, identiques ou différents, représentent chacun indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène ou un atome de chlore, - de l'eau et au moins un alcool choisi parmi l'éthanol, le n-propanol et l'isopropanol. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé de fabrication d'une telle composition, son utilisation comme médicament, notamment pour l'antisepsie de la peau et son utilisation pour la désinfection des instruments, en particulier en vue d'une intervention chirurgicale.
