PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active oxygen inhibitor inhibiting active oxygen for preventing an easy-oxidizable component, such as fat in food and a pharmaceutical product, from oxidizing, and among materials usable for food and pharmaceutical products, exhibiting an effect with a small amount without affecting texture and taste, and to provide food and a pharmaceutical product containing the active oxygen inhibitor.SOLUTION: Combination of astaxanthin and curcumin has a higher property of inhibiting active oxygen than separate use of each. Astaxanthin and curcumin are components derived from a natural product, and have an antioxidative effect when used as drink and food.
