Abstract - 596770 Disclosed is the use of a food product in the manufacture of a medicament for the reduction of absorption of ethanol ingested via the consumption of an alcoholic drink, the food product comprising: micronised zeolite (such as clinoptilolite) wherein at least 90% of the granules of said micronised zeolite have a particle size greater than 0.1 micons； and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, and wherein the food product may be selected from anyone of drinks, baked products, sweet or savoury, bread, pizza, focaccia, crackers, biscuits, tarts, snacks, sweets, crisps, nuts, sweet or salted bars, tortilla, fresh or dry pasta and ready meals and sauces.
