A plurality of planting containers having the same structure are adapted to be stacked in three-dimension to form a plurality of planting columns that set up a planting tower by arranging the planting columns around a center line parallel to the gravity direction. The planting container includes a bottom wall and a side wall extending from the peripheral of the bottom wall and defining a containing space with the bottom wall. The side wall has a planting opening that communicates with the containing space. The side wall has a top end and a bottom end that is closer to the bottom wall than the top end. When two of the planting containers are stacked in three-dimension with each other, the bottom end of the upper planting container are engaged with the upper end of the lower planting container.
