The invention relates to a vehicle for harvesting thin, stemmed woody plants. Said vehicle comprises a sawing device (1), a conveying device (2), and, alternatively, a bundling or chopping device (3). The sawing device (1) is mounted in front of the vehicle in the direction of travel and is equipped with a cutting element (4) at a short distance from the ground in order to cut the woody plants. The conveying device (2) is designed to feed woody plants cut by means of the sawing device (1) to the bundling device (3). The bundling or chopping device (3) is arranged at a certain distance from the ground. According to the invention, the conveying device (2) comprises at least one conveyor screw (5) which grabs the woody plants at the cut edge and lifts the woody plants to the bundling or chopping device (3).
