Provided is an apparatus for generating superheated steam that can efficiently generate superheated steam, has improved heating capability, and is easily adopted by farmers. This is a superheated steam generation apparatus in which a saturated steam generation chamber 6 whose bottom surface is in contact with the heating source 5 and a saturated steam storage chamber 7, a steam pressure control chamber 8, and a superheated steam generation chamber 10 are provided in the upper part thereof. The chambers are separated by a metal partition plate having holes (22, 23, 24). In the saturated steam generation chamber 6, water is heated to become saturated steam, which is saturated steam.
