Provided in the present invention are a method and an apparatus for measuring circular polarization dichroism. The method uses a metamaterial with an effective negative refractive index and an achiral structure in detecting optical isomer molecules. The method and the apparatus can detect minimum optical isomer molecules by having no signal contamination problems and generating a chiral field reinforced within the entire nanostructure.
