A foaming insecticidal ant spray is described that minimally comprises an essential oil, an emulsifier, a carboxylate salt and water, which has maximum mortality on ants. A method for killing and controlling ants is described wherein the composition is foamed directly onto the ants whereby the ants become entangled within the foam, increase their contact time with the compositions, and perish.Linvention concerne une pulvérisation insecticide anti-fourmis, moussante, qui comprend au minimum une huile essentielle, un émulsifiant, un sel de carboxylate et de leau, qui presente un effet mortel maximal sur les fourmis. Linvention concerne un procédé pour tuer les fourmis et lutter contre ces dernières, dans lequel la composition est moussée directement sur les fourmis, les fourmis étant ainsi empêtrées dans la mousse, augmentant leur temps de contact avec la composition et périssant.
