PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrub agent that can remove effectively waste or sebaceous matters of skin surface, dust or oily stains, etc. adhered to skin surface when it is blended in cosmetics as a scrub agent, moreover does not irritate too strongly the skin at the time of rubbing, and gives an extremely good feeling after use.SOLUTION: Provided is a scrub agent which comprises spherical polymer fine particles having a regular rumple surface structure and an average particle diameter of 50-400 &mum and which has been prepared by dissolving a 5-30 wt.% styrene-n-butyl methacrylate copolymer to a mixture of a 40-90 wt.% polymerizable hydrophobic vinyl monomer and a 5-40 wt.% crosslinkable monomer, then by performing suspension polymerization in an aqueous medium.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】スクラブ剤として化粧料に配合した場合、皮膚表面の老廃物や皮脂、皮膚表面に付着した塵埃や油汚れ等を効率よく除去することができ、しかも皮膚との摩擦時には刺激が強すぎず、使用感は極めて良好であるポリマー微粒子を得ること。【解決手段】疎水性の重合性ビニルモノマー40~90重量%および架橋性モノマー5~40重量%の混合物にスチレン-ノルマルブチルメタクリレート共重合体5~30重量%を溶解させ、水性媒体中で懸濁重合させて得られた表面に規則的なシワ構造を有する平均粒子径50~400μmの球状ポリマー微粒子が前記課題を解決した。【選択図】図1
