PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromechanical conversion device capable of preventing the light from entering a reception surface with no degradation in mechanism characteristic of a diaphragm.SOLUTION: The electromechanical conversion device includes at least one cell structure 2 in which a diaphragm 7 is supported for free movement, the diaphragm containing one electrode 8 among two electrodes 3 and 8 being provided with a gap 5 in between.
