A mastectomy device allows a surgeon to cut skin covering a patients breast more uniformly. The mastectomy device includes: a vacuum well having a peripheral wall, a closed top and an open bottom which together define a well interior, a valve rotatably mounted to the vacuum well and provided with a through channel, and a cutting tip assembly having a telescoping cutting tip. The cutting tip assembly is connected to the vacuum well such that the cutting tip can be inserted into, and withdrawn from the well interior, via the through channel. Rotation of the valve controls the angular position of the through channel, and thus the orientation of the telescoping cutting tip.Un dispositif de mastectomie permet à un chirurgien de découper plus uniformément la peau recouvrant le sein dun patient. Le dispositif de mastectomie comprend : un puits à vide ayant une paroi périphérique, un sommet fermé et un fond ouvert qui définissent ensemble un intérieur de puits, une soupape montée rotative sur le puits à vide et pourvue dun canal traversant, et un ensemble pointe de coupe ayant une pointe de coupe télescopique. Lensemble pointe de coupe est relié au puits à vide de telle sorte que la pointe de coupe peut être insérée à lintérieur du puits, et retirée de celui-ci, par lintermédiaire du canal traversant. La rotation de la soupape commande la position angulaire du canal traversant, et donc lorientation de la pointe de coupe télescopique.
