PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflation support system for MR (Magnetic Resonance) guided HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound).SOLUTION: A support device (52, 100, 120, 130, 140, 170) has an inflatable element (76, 102, 122, 132, 142, 160, 172) arranged on the upper face (34) of a table (30), on which a patient (32) can be placed. The table is a part of a bore of a medical imaging machine (20) and movable into and out of the bore. The inflatable element has one or more fluid fillable cells (78, 106, 108, 124, 134, 136, 138, 144, 162, 176, 80, 146) selectively inflatable and deflatable, and can alter the position of a patent relative to the upper face of the table.
