X , SOX removal properties without damaging properties which a foam originally has, by using the properties such as deodorizing properties utilizing the oxidation-reduction catalyst function, allergen decomposing function and NOX , SOX removal properties of a metal phthalocyanine, and to provide a production method which can easily produce the foam product.SOLUTION: The functional foam comprises, in a dispersed form, a metal phthalocyanine represented by a specified structural formula, or/and fine fibers, which carry the metal phthalocyanine thereon, selected from natural fibers, synthetic fibers, semi-synthetic fibers or regenerated fibers, or/and an inorganic material which carries the metal phthalocyanine thereon.
