PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization method and a deodorant which aim at reduction in odor derived from ammonia generated from excreta of a person, or a domestic animal and a pet and which use hot spring water being an acid derived from a natural product, to provide a deodorant container, and to utilize a hot spring aqueous solution after being used as a deodorant, for fertilizer cultivating a plant after removing an aluminum ion from the hot spring aqueous solution.SOLUTION: The deodorization method includes a step of preparing concentrated acid water with a pH of about 2 or less by using the acid water derived from a hot spring or a mineral spring as it is or concentrating the acid water, a step of adsorbing ammonia gas to the concentrated acid water by contacting the concentrated acid water with air including the ammonia gas generated from a domestic environment, compost, livestock excreta, waste or a treatment facility of these and a step of enabling dissipation of deodorization effect thereof to be determined using an aluminum hydroxide precipitation quantity.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】人または家畜、ペットの糞尿からのアンモニアに由来する臭気低減を目的とし、天然物由来の酸である温泉水を利用した脱臭方法、及び脱臭剤ならびにその容器を提供する。また、脱臭剤として利用された後の温泉水溶液はアルミニウムイオンを除去した後、肥料として利用し、植物栽培へ活用することとする。【解決手段】温泉又は鉱泉由来の酸性水をそのまま用いるか又は濃縮し、おおよそpH2以下の濃縮酸性水を用意する工程と、前記濃縮酸性水を家庭内環境、堆肥、家畜糞尿、廃棄物又はそれらの処理施設から発生するアンモニアガスを含む空気と接触させてアンモニアガスを前記濃縮酸性水に吸着させる工程と、水酸化アルミニウム沈殿量からその脱臭効果消滅の判断を可能とする工程を含む。【選択図】なし
