The present prefilled syringes for heparin are ready to use containing pre-diluted dose of heparin. This enables heparin to be administered with no risk of microbial or particulate contamination. There are no separate ampoules required for the heparin or the sterile water. Therefore, only syringes are to be manufactured and disposed after use. Therefore manufacturing cost is considerably reduced making the present prefilled syringes for heparin economical. This also makes it easy to handle and reduces the medical wastage.
