PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mortar slope greening method capable of reinforcing and satisfactorily greening existing mortar slope.SOLUTION: There is provided a planting device 1 that is inserted into a hole dug into existing mortar slope to raise liana. The planting device comprises: a core material 11 which consists of two or more steel wires and whose end portions at one side are folded to form hooks a core material wrapping body 12 which is wound to the core material 11 excluding a hook portion, and creates an air layer in a space between the core material and the body a water-holding material layer 13 which is formed on an outer periphery of the wrapping body and made of a water-holding material a nonwoven fabric layer 14 for roots taking which is formed on an outer periphery of the layer and made of nonwoven fabric an outermost layer 15 made of a mesh-like material which is formed on an outer periphery of the layer and maintains the shape of the hole and a pot 16 inserted through the hook portion.
