Synergistic combinations of quaternary ammonium compound and/or alkylpyridinium salt with inorganic antiperspirant, useful especially as components of foot care products
Synergistic active substance combinations of: (a) at least one quaternary ammonium compound and/or alkylpyridinium salt; and (b) at least one inorganic antiperspirant are new. Synergistic active substance combinations of: (a) at least one quaternary ammonium compound and/or alkylpyridinium salt; and (b) at least one inorganic antiperspirant are new. The quaternary ammonium compounds and alkylpyridinium salts have formulae N<+>(R<1>)(R<2>)(R<3>)(R<4>) (I) and (II), respectively: R<1> and R<2> = CH3 or C2H5; R<3>, R<5> = 1-18C alkyl; R<4> = 8-18C alkyl; or 7-18C aralkyl; and X<-> = inorganic or organic anion. An Independent claim is included for cosmetic and dermatological preparations for foot care containing the active substance combination.
