A therapeutic apparatus comprising: a housing 40; a circuit-module 20; an electric heating element 10; a control-unit 50; and an air delivery and regulating unit (a fan) 30. The heating-element, which is disposed between the fan and an air outlet of the housing, also includes a ceramic portion possessing far infrared features. The ceramic portion has a plurality of through holes to form an evenly distributed air field. The circuit-module comprises a temperature detection and regulation circuit, which heats an air flow to a predetermined temperature. The heating element is heated to increase the far infrared effect of the ceramic portion to enhance blood circulation and activate cells of a human body, where the hot air flow is transmitted by the fan to pass through the air outlet to a fixture 60, so that the hot air flow enters an affected part of the human body to achieve a sterilisation effect. The control-unit may comprise an atomised vapour humidification unit. The apparatus is described as being suitable for treating affected body-parts such as nose, mouth and toes. Further described is the ceramic portion being formed by a ceramic nanometer powder and a far infrared coating material.
