PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a shiraae element capable of suppressing syneresis from a product after discharge from a container and from a product preserved into a container.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a shiraae element comprising: a step where the content of water included in a soybean curd is controlled to 70 to 80 mass% to the mass of the soybean, and a soybean curd dough is prepared; a kneading step where raw materials including the soybean curd in which the content of water has been controlled, a vegetable oil and thickening polysaccharide are kneaded; and a retort sterilization treatment where the obtained kneaded matter is charged to a container and is subjected to retort sterilization treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
