PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating skin condition of areas around eyes simply, objectively and accurately by determining the correlation between activity of an enzyme relating to skin and skin condition of areas around the eyes.SOLUTION: Skin condition of areas around the eyes is estimated by using activity of an enzyme relating to skin as an index. Preferably, the enzyme relating to the skin is an enzyme in the horny layer and it is preferable to estimate that skin condition of areas around the eyes is good if the activity of the enzyme is high. Also by using the activity of an enzyme present in the horny layer as an index, a skin care preparation for external use in areas around the eyes or a substance to be compounded in the same can be estimated.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】肌関連酵素の活性と目元の肌状態との相関関係を明らかにし、簡便に、客観的に、高精度に、目元の肌状態を推定する方法を提供する。【解決手段】肌関連酵素の活性を指標として、目元の肌状態を推定する。肌関連酵素としては角層中の酵素が好ましく、前記酵素の活性が高い場合は、目元の肌状態が良いと推定されることが好ましい。また、角層中に存在する酵素の活性を指標として、目元用皮膚外用剤又はこれに配合する物質を評価することもできる。【選択図】図1
