PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device which can be disposed both horizontally and vertically not requires to secure a setting area wide and in which an inside circuit board hardly influenced by external force.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic observing device 3 has a plurality of circuit parts therein and further has a device body 3A whose contour shape is a rectangular parallelepiped shape, a handle part 39 arranged in one side face which is the upper face in a vertically disposed state of the device body, and two boss parts and a handle part 39 arranged in one side face which is the lower face in the vertically disposed state of the device body 3A.
