PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the production volume of hydroponically cultured climbing plants.SOLUTION: The method for growing seedlings of climbing plants is characterized by a step (S1) for growing seedlings, including: a rooting step (S11) for rooting climbing plants by inserting cuttings into a vermiculite medium or sunny soil particle medium with part of vines collected from the climbing plants as cutting scions and a growing step (S12) for growing the rooted scions in pots filled with a zeolite culture medium. The method for growing further includes a hydroponic step (S13) for further growing the scions grown in the growing step in the hydroponics. The seedlings of the climbing plants grown in the seedling growing step (S1) are permanently planted in a rooftop greening device in a permanent planting step (S2).COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】水耕栽培されるつる性植物の生産量を向上させる。【解決手段】本発明のつる性植物の育苗方法は、育苗工程(S1)において、つる性植物から採取されたつるの一部を挿し穂とし、バーミキュライト培地又は日向土小粒培地に挿し木をして発根させる発根工程(S11)と、発根した挿し穂をゼオライト培地が充填された鉢に鉢上げして生育させる生育工程(S12)とを行うことを特徴とする。また、生育工程で生育された挿し穂を水耕栽培でさらに生育させる水耕栽培工程(S13)を行う。そして、育苗工程で生育されたつる性植物の苗は、定植工程(S2)にて屋根緑化装置に定植される。【選択図】図1
