Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein polymerisierbares Material zur Herstellung eines dentalen Stumpfaufbaumaterials, mit den Merkmalen: - das Material enthält wenigstens ein polymerisierbares Monomer, Oligomer und/oder Präpolymer, - der Gesamtfüllstoffgehalt des Materials beträgt 50 bis 85 Gew.-%, - das Material enthält 5 bis 25 Gew.-% Nanofüllstoff mit einer mittleren Teilchengröße d5o von 300 nm oder weniger, wobei wenigstens 50 Gew.-% dieses Nanofüllstoffs eine Teilchengröße von 200 nm oder weniger aufweist, - das Material enthält 35 bis 75 Gew.-% Mikrofüllstoff mit einer mittleren Teilchengröße d50 von 0,3 bis 10 μm, - die Beschleifbarkeit des ausgehärteten Stumpfaufbaumaterials weicht höchstens 15% von der Beschleifbarkeit von Humandentin ab.
