PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an awakening degree determination device and a stimulus application device capable of detecting lowering of an awakening degree occurring in a whole body even with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A massage chair includes: a detection unit 1A for a back part and a detection unit 1B for a seat part for detecting an action of a whole body of a user a stimulus application unit 3 for applying a predetermined stimulus to the user and a control unit 22 for controlling the stimulus application unit 3 on the basis of the action of the whole body of the user detected by the detection unit 1A for a back part and the detection unit 1B for a seat part.
