PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic phosphate fertilizer well absorbed by cultivated plants and having good fertilizer response and to provide an availability enhancer for phosphate fertilizers which makes absorbable a phosphate fixed in soil and therefore being incapable of being absorbed by plants. SOLUTION: The above phosphate fertilizer contains a phosphoric ester of an organic compound having an alcoholic hydroxy group. The availability enhancer contains an organic compound having an alcoholic hydroxy group. The phosphate fertilizer is well absorbed by cultivated plants, has therefore good fertilizing activity, and makes absorbable a phosphate fixed in soil and therefore being incapable of being absorbed by plants.
