METHOD FOR GENETIC TRANSFORMATION OF SEDUM ERYTHROSTICHUM VIA AGROBACTERIUM-MEDIATED TRANSFORMATION TO IMPROVE GENETIC TRANSFORMATION OF SEDUM ERYTHROSTICHUM AND EFFECTIVELY SCREEN GENETIC TRANSFORMED SEDUM ERYTHROSTICHUM
PURPOSE: A method for genetic transformation of Sedum erythrostichum via Agrobacterium-mediated transformation is provided, thereby improving the genetic transformation of Sedum erythrostichum and effectively screening the genetic transformed Sedum erythrostichum. CONSTITUTION: The method for genetic transformation of Sedum erythrostichum via Agrobacterium-mediated transformation comprises the steps of: introducing 3% sugar, and NAA, BA and Kinetin into the MS medium; co-culturing the leaf and stem sectiles of Sedum erythrostichum with Agrobacterium; removing Agrobacterium from the medium using antibiotics; selecting transformed adventitious bud of Sedum erythrostichum using ganamycin; regenerating the selected transformed adventitious bud of Sedum erythrostichum into a complete plant; and transplanting the complete plant of Sedum erythrostichum into sand and growing it for 2 month.
