PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box that easily and surely performs a positioning of a center cushioning material, and excels in sealability. SOLUTION: The packaging box includes a box body 1 including a bottom carton 1A and a top carton 1B, four corner cushioning materials 2A-2D, and a center cushioning material 3. In the center of a front board 6 and a back board on upper edges 1a of the bottom carton 1A, a pair of slits 20 is formed with a predetermined space therebetween, respectively, thus, positioning pieces 21 are provided between both of the pair of the slits. To oppose to the positioning pieces 21, positioning grooves 22 are formed in the center cushioning material from its lower face toward its front face and its back face, respectively. The center cushion material is inserted into the center of the bottom carton and the positioning pieces are fitted into the positioning grooves, and the lower corner cushioning materials 2A and 2B are arranged to both corners inside the bottom carton, then, a lower part of a to-be-packaged object A is inserted into the bottom carton via the lower corner cushioning materials and the center cushioning material.
