PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel wound treatment agent with high wound healing facilitatory effect, and to provide a producing method thereof.SOLUTION: A wound treatment agent with paramylum derived from Euglena as an active ingredient is a therapeutic agent for wounds which is in a healing process including a duration from immediately after wounded to inflammation phase. It promotes a bulge of derma around the wound in the wound healing process and promotes formation of derma around the wound, and promotes cytokine secretion in the wound healing process. And, it is used as a wound treatment agent for diabetics.
