PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a framed soap composition excellent in dispersibility of scum, not staining a bath place, and good in foaming at a low temperature.SOLUTION: A framed soap composition contains the following components (A): 10 to 50 mass% of a 8-22C fatty acid or its sodium salt (B): 1 to 25 mass% of an alkyl ether carboxylic acid or its salt represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 is a 4-22C alkyl group n is the number of 0 to 20 and M is a hydrogen atom, an alkaline metal, an alkaline earth metal, an ammonium or an organic ammonium), wherein the average carbon number of R1 is 10.8 to 12.8 and the alkyl ether carboxylic acid contains >9.6 mass% and ≤27 mass% of a component of n=0, and ≥21 mass% and ≤40 mass% of whole components of n=1 and n=2 (C): 0.1 to 10 mass% of salts other than the components (A) and (B) and (D): water.
