This invention provides a particle ray therapeutic device capable of performing a therapeutic treatment on a number of patients by conducting irradiations of a particle ray simultaneously in a plurality of treatment rooms (6). The particle ray therapeutic device of this invention contains a breath inducing device (22) for inducing breath based on an object breath wave pattern (WIb), a switching device (32) for switching particle beam tracks, an irradiation device (21) for controlling the irradiation of the particle beam to synchronize with the object breath wave pattern (WIb), and a controller (4) for controlling the breath inducing devices (22) in the plurality of treating rooms (6) and the switching device (32) to synchronize with each other.
