To provide a medical device, a method of controlling a medical device, and a program capable of reporting whether a respiration waveform is significantly related to a treatment timing.SOLUTION: A medical device 100 includes an acquisition unit 130, an association unit, and a display control unit 124. The acquisition unit acquires information indicating a respiration waveform of a subject, and acquires a fluoroscopic image of the subject taken in time series. The association unit associates a tracking value that varies due to a respiration phase of the subject on the basis of the time-series fluoroscopic image.
