PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitumor agent containing a stilbene derivative and a platinum coordination compound as active ingredients.SOLUTION: This antitumor agent shows synergistically enhanced antitumor activity because of the use of these two kinds of active ingredients in combination and is expected to be used as an antitumor agent of excellent safety. In particular, when a stilbene derivative having antitumor activity is used in combination with the platinum coordination compound, the antitumor agent exhibits further improved antitumoral activity and is desirable as an antitumor agent having more excellent efficacy in the treatment of, especially malignant tumors.
