PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bean paste rice cake, composed of a soft rice cake coated with bean paste or a soft rice cake wrapped with bean paste, by utilizing rice cake solidified at normal temperature.SOLUTION: A sliced rice cake, i.e. solidified rice cake, and bean paste are mixed. A sliced rice cake is cut into grains, which are fed into bean paste so as to be adequately mixed. The mixture of sliced rice cake and bean paste is fed into a bag or a container, and heated by microwave oven or the like so as to obtain a bean paste rice cake having excellent shelf stability. The sliced rice cake has cutting plane lines.
