PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam extraction apparatus capable of efficiently collecting a component extracted by bringing steam into contact with the raw material of a food or beverage.SOLUTION: The steam extracting apparatus 11 comprises a processing tank 12 for storing the raw material of the food or beverage in the sealed state, a steam generating device 13, a steam supply pipe 14 extending from the steam generating device 13 to the processing tank 12, steam jet nozzles 46a and 47a disposed at the distal end of the steam supply pipe 14, a collection pipe 51 connected to the processing tank 12, and a condenser 52 connected to the collection pipe 51. The steam generating device 13 generates superheated steam, the processing tank 12 has a storage part for storing the raw material of the food or beverage, and the steam jet nozzles 46a and 47a are provided inside the storage part.
