PURPOSE: A foreign substance removal apparatus for raw laver is provided to selectively change a foreign substance separator to a vertical or a horizontal state by a user. CONSTITUTION: A processing tank (10) receives raw laver mixed with foreign substance with sea water. A foreign substance separator separates foreign substances from the raw laver. A processing tank rotating unit (30) rotates the processing tank to change the state of the foreign substance separator into vertical or horizontal. Raw laver discharge and insertion units inflow the raw laver into the processing tank, and discharge the raw laver without the foreign substances to the outside of the processing tank. The processing tank rotating unit includes a rotary shaft, a rotary handle, and a speed reducer. The raw laver discharge unit includes a first discharge pipe, a second discharge pipe (43), and a first connection pipe (45). The first connection pipe includes a first rotary pipe (46) and a first fixing pipe (47).
