PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-solid pharmaceutical composition with stable quality by keeping the viscosity within a predetermined range. A Chinese medicine composition contains a Chinese medicine extract and a thickener, and has a viscosity measured by a Brookfield type rotational viscometer according to JIS K7117-1 and has a viscosity of 60 to 1600 mPa · s. The thickener is preferably guar gum, and the content of the thickener is preferably 0.4 to 0.8% by mass when the total amount of the Chinese herbal semi-solid pharmaceutical composition is 100% by mass.
