PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing leakage by suppressing kink and deviation even if an absorber is configured to move according to the movement of a wearers body.
SOLUTION: This absorbent article is formed of a liquid-impermeable leakage prevention layer 3 coming into contact with dressing, and a liquid-retaining absorber layer 7 disposed on the leakage prevention layer 3, into a longitudinally long shape. The leakage prevention layer 3 has a locking means 6 detachably attached to the dressing in its back side, the outer circumferential edge of the leakage prevention layer 6 is joined with the outer circumferential edge of the absorber layer 7 at an outer circumferential edge joint part across the entire area, at least a wearers vagina contact area 7a at the front end side of the absorber layer 7 is fixed to the leakage prevention layer 6 by a fixing part 7b, and loose parts 8 capable of separating or bringing the rear end portion of the leakage prevention layer 3 close with respect to the absorber layer 7 are provided at non-fixed portions 7c in the rear end side of the absorber layer 7 which are non-fixed to the leakage prevention layer 3, between the leakage prevention layer 3 and the absorber layer 7.
