PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held inspection apparatus capable of performing inspections on a plurality of kinds of eye characteristics at a lower cost and more easily.SOLUTION: A hand-held inspection apparatus includes: a unit holding part 2 for selectively and detachably holding a plurality of kinds of optometrical units 16 for performing inspections on mutually different eye characteristics for eyes to be examined； and a handle part 3 provided to the unit holding part, which is gripped by an examiner.
