PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological state detection device capable of accurately detecting a biological state such as a pulse wave and a pulse rate without being affected by the state of a subject during measurement.SOLUTION: A casing 40 has contact surfaces 51 and 52 with which a palm of the subject is to be brought into contact, and optical type pulse wave sensors 61 and 63 for detecting biological signals indicating the biological state of the subject are provided respectively on the contact surfaces 51 and 52. The contact surfaces 51 and 52 are formed at such positions that the device 1 is supported from the lower part in the vertical direction by the palm of the subject brought into contact with the contact surfaces 51 and 52. Thus, since the mass of the casing 40 acts on the palm of the subject from the upper part to the lower part in the vertical direction, the optical type pulse wave sensors 61 and 63 provided on the contact surfaces 51 and 52 pressurize the palm of the subject by pressurizing force dependent on the mass of the casing 40. The pressurizing force is kept fixed regardless of the degree of intentional force by the subject and a shape of the palm of the subject or the like.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】測定時の被験者の状態に影響されることなく、脈波や脈拍等の生体状態を精度良く検出可能な生体状態検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】筐体40は表面に被験者の掌を接触させる接触面51、52を有しており、該接触面51、52にはそれぞれ被験者の生体状態を示す生体信号を検出する光学式脈波センサ61、63が備えられている。接触面51、52は、該接触面51、52に接触させた被験者の掌によって当該装置1が鉛直方向下方から支持される位置に形成されている。これにより、被験者の掌には筐体40の質量が鉛直方向上方から下方に作用するため、接触面51、52に設けられた光学式脈波センサ61、63は、筐体40の質量に依存する押圧力によって被験者の掌を押圧する。押圧力は、被験者の意識的な力の入れ具合や被験者の掌の形状等に関係なく、一定に保たれる。【選択図】 図1
