A peptidic hydrolyzate enriched in bioactive peptide, capable of reinforcing the skin barrier function and stimulating epidermal differentiation is described. Additionally, a cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical composition that includes a physiologically acceptable medium and the peptidic hydrolyzate as active principle are described. The cosmetic composition activates the HMG-CoA reductase in the cutaneous cells and treats the cutaneous signs of aging and photo-aging.L'invention concerne un hydrolysat peptidique enrichi en peptide bioactif, capable de renforcer la fonction barrière cutanée et de stimuler la différenciation épidermique. L'invention est également relative à une composition cosmétique et/ou pharmaceutique comprenant, dans un milieu physiologiquement acceptable, ledit hydrolysat en tant que principe actif. L'invention concerne encore l'utilisation, dans une composition cosmétique, du principe actif selon l'invention pour activer la HMG-CoA réductase dans les cellules cutanées, et pour prévenir et lutter contre les signes cutanés du vieillissement et du photo- vieillissement.
